Chapter 1-Early Childhood
The world has come to a crossroads with violence, employment, housing, marriage, religion and all other everyday things that we go through as human being that bring us together or separate us. So in the year 2050 America has now instituted a non-voluntary program called the clover initiative.
This is a program of racial, economic, religion, sexuality, ethnicity, political party, age, weight, and education. The rest of the world refused to activate the clover system at this time but instead wants to wait and see how it works for the United States of America.
People can choose whatever sector they want to belong too at age 21, and after the decision is made unless the persons situation changes, and they are accepted into another sector then the decisions are final. The United States has become divided into twelve sectors of living. The twelve sectors are by Religion, Race, Sexuality, Mixed race marriage, criminal record, economics, literacy level, political party, weight, gender identity difference, all others, and handicap.
There will be sub sets of each category that is within a category. For example if you are rich and black you will live in the black sector but in the rich black sector. This will be broke down the same way in each sector. If you are not an American Citizen you can apply for a sector and they can either accept you or deny you. If you are caught entering a sector without permission for any reason the penalty is automatic death.
You will not be given a trial, or the benefit of doubt the fact that you are there is grounds for you to be immediately executed. All non-American who wish to do business deals with have to do so by computer interaction only, signatures, and handshakes will become of legal nature over the internet.
If goods are to be traded, sold, or taken to any other sectors they will be done so by airplane, and then trucked out to the various receivers from the airport by truckers. There will be no person to person contact other than an intellectual, and physical Olympics that take place every five years.
12 Clovers: The Divided States of America Description:
This book is about some teens growing up in a new United States that has been divided up by race, religion, age, gender, sex, economic status, creed etc…
This story focuses on two teen that live in a middle class christian society located in Arizona. They eventually have to come to terms with their fears, and also the possible separation from their family’s. A certain incident takes place with one of their visiting friends from the State of Utah that will change their lives forever.
