Tinzor: The Beginning
Chapter One

Roo Haas stood outside his whitewashed mud brick home. His feet, wrapped in old rags, rested on the frozen ground. Icicles hung from the eaves of the homes. Smoke rising from the center portion of the homes provided the one promise of relief. The cold hand of winter held the land in its grip. The households and business exteriors marched up the hillside through the rest of the city.

Roo’s threadbare, torn tunic and pants bore neat patches with irregular stitches of different sizes. His hand went to his eyes and scrubbed away tears running down his face. After a few moments, he gave in to the urge and cried. He hid his face in his hands, his shoulders drooping with the weight of his grief.

His younger brother must not see him as anything but strong. In the southern end of Espia, his home was no different from others. He lived with his mother, sister and little brother. Skins, thin with age, hung over the windows.

Tinzor: The Beginning Description:

In order to survive, they must trek through treacherous terrain while teaching themselves to use their untried magical abilities. Together they must overcome their fears and set aside differences as they battle alongside friends they make along the way. But the dark forces will stop at nothing to destroy the boys, who’ve inherited unprecedented power from their Great One ancestors.
