Times best selling author Kristan Higgins writes about two sisters who grew up closely and shared laughter, joy and drama. Life is a journey, leading them to make their decisions to choose the right paths.

Over the past weeks, I've read several books including Queen of Shadows, Win Me Over and Waking up Married but none of them caught my interest like the novel, If You Only Knew. It's a delicate touching story of two sisters that spins out in utterly natural ways from the moment they became adults.

The story is poignant and sometimes puzzling, intriguing, yet funny, and has a bittersweet look at marriage and moving on even though it was difficult.

indexJenny lived in New York and had a very successful business designing wedding gowns. She was moving from Manhattan to her hometown where she would be closer to family. The truth was partially because she was trying to get away from her past with ex-husband Owen. After their divorce, he soon remarried to a beautiful young girl who wants to be Jenny’s friend.

If something like this should happen to another person, I am sure there would have been bitterness and resentment but Jenny remained friends with her ex-husband and his wife. She was now leaving because they're living the life she wanted and it’s time for her to move on and have closure.

Jenny thought her sister Rachel had a perfect life but later found out she was wrong. Anxious to help her sister, Jenny made a decision to tell a family secret that may change Rachel’s life.
