I am unashamedly pro Books Go Social.

What makes them work as a support system is their dedication to helping the self publishing author. They are prepared to try out new ideas and go the extra mile when providing services.

Three months after I had published my book on Amazon kindle and a month after my paperback was published by Createspace, I knew I would need support with marketing and so I joined BGS and used their monthly email to advertise my promotions with KDP.

However it was the 2015 Dublin Writers Conference that dramatically increased my involvement with BGS. It gave me the opportunity to meet the BGS team, to put a face to a name, as well as interact with writers from as far afield as Australia, most of whom I still connect with on social media. There’s nothing like shop talk over a glass of wine.

aouth_americaIt was an exciting time and the conference programme was inspiring so much so that while in Dublin I decided to have BGS create a trailer for my second book about living in South America which had just been published. Tanja and Mirna worked on the design and I think you will agree that their work is of a high standard when you see it at this year’s conference.

Since then BGS have increased their services introducing the Review Club, expanding buying opportunities, offering a weekly video support session and introducing the Ambassador status for members. I have found all of these opportunities very helpful.

More recently I asked BGS to change my two book covers and this task has been successful in attracting more readers.

A big thank you to Laurence and all the team at BGS! And may the 2016 Dublin Writers’ Conference be even better!
