I am a disabled, 3 time cancer survivor, and mustard is my favorite condiment.

 

How did you get into writing?

College, Bachelor's of Arts in English, Creative Writing (emphasis in children's literature) Minor in Philosophy

 

What are your top 3 books of all time?

  1. Don Quixote
  2. The Picture of Dorian Gray
  3. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

 

Where did you get the inspiration for this book?

It just popped into my head one day in a painting class, and I have never been able to get it out of my head since then.

 

How long did it take you to write this book?.

24 years so far, lol.

 

Have you got any writing rituals?

I keep a notebook handy at all times to write down ideas that pop into my head unexpectedly.

 

How important is marketing and social media for you?

Paramount. I cannot afford advertising bc I am disabled. It is my only option.

 

Do you read your book reviews?

Yes.

 

What advice would you have for other writers?

Most of what you write will be garbage for a long time. It takes a decade or two to find your voice. Keep writing until this happens. You will know when it does. I promise.

 

What are you reading now?

The Art of War- Sun Tzu.

 

What's your next step?

Marketing, sales, marketing, and sales.
