SELF DISCOVERY
Recently I have been on a quest, possessing the ambition of a traveler with a never ending urge to learn about our universe and myself. I had so many questions that left me feeling like I was missing out on so much. Although I have never been starving, I imagine the feeling I had was much like a spiritual starvation.
I was hungry for answers. I needed to know why certain things happened; how the world worked. Why is everything I see on the news negative? Why do I feel as if I do not belong? What am I missing?
I looked around at my life, at the world, and saw no beauty. I just saw the things that made my life and the world harsh and ugly. I would get upset over things that I could not control and felt powerless to change anything. My soul was completely uneasy in every single possible reality, and so I began my quest to find the answers.
I have studied countless different subjects including world domination, the Thirteen Families, aliens and the possibility of humankind not being the only living, conscious beings. The one thing that always rings true is, no matter how much I have learned, while coming to terms with the universe, all the mysteries of life, the more I have yet to learn.
I think it was Einstein who said it, “but he felt as if he was a child in a gigantic library, filled with books in different languages, but never knew who made the library, or who wrote the books”. There is so much potential and knowledge out there, even if I cannot tell you exactly how it all works I know this: When I look out at the universe with knowledge I acquire, the more amazed I am.
