I am a prisoner

Of my depression.

The cold grasp

Of its unyielding hands

Leaves me lying awake,

Staring into nothing

All night.

I am a prisoner

Of my own mind.

Trapped, inside of Myself,

Is something important,

Something meaningful.

But I have yet to Find it.

That's the key though,

Isn't it?

Focus on yourself,

Work on yourself,

Try for yourself.

But myself is distracting,

Myself is troublesome,

Myself is problematic.

I am a prisoner

Of the point
