The bright, northern Ohio sun was just starting to peek its rays above the tall pine trees that outlined the barn property. There was a warm humidity starting to rise, signaling a potentially warm and sticky day on the horizon. The front door of the tan metal barn was wide open allowing the fresh air breeze to filter its way down the aisle. The horses were all munching peacefully on their breakfast while last-minute checks were taking place before the big trip.

“Everything’s loaded up then?” the somewhat unfriendly but experienced truck driver asked me.

He looked gruff on the outside, graying beard and typical trucker hat with buttoned down plaid shirt. Deep inside I could tell he had a kind heart toward animals. At least that was what I was hoping for. I had spent the last three weeks packing and repacking for this trip so no, I wasn’t sure if everything was loaded up or not.

I had the saddle, bridles, girths, saddle pads, and all the colorful polo wraps I could find packed into the tack stall in the shipping trailer. This was the first time in my entire life that I wasn’t the one hauling my own horse. I was extremely nervous yet extremely thankful to not have the burden of traveling alone.

I had hired someone, someone with border crossing experience, to haul my young Hanoverian gelding across the Canadian border. It was a trip I had been dying to take for several years, but until recently had little to no funding to do. After saving up for the past three years my dream was finally coming true, and I was nervous as all get out. I would be spending the next three months with Olympic trainer Amy Arnot as a working student. The majority of my tasks would include barn chores, but I would also be receiving lessons from Ms. Arnot on Indie and hopefully on some of her schoolmasters as well.

“Yes, I think,” I replied.

Indie, my not-so-patient horse, was the last big item to pack, so to speak, so I quickly walked down to his stall and led him to his awaiting chariot. Indie, a big fan of traveling, was more than willing to hop in and experience a new adventure.

My Notes From the Bible – The Years of Man’s Time

The experienced bible student knows that the period of time God has given to man to rule himself is 6000 years. This is followed by the return of Christ and the establishing of the “Kingdom of God” beginning with the “Millennial rule” of Christ and his saints. This is typed by the creation week described in the beginning of the book of Genesis culminating with the seventh day Sabbath. The following scriptures detail the physical creation week which is a type of the spiritual creation week (Note that the spiritual creation week is made up of days that are one thousand years long – see 2 Peter 3:8):

The following narrative details in a chart format the accumulation of years to the year 6000 from Adam. It is an accumulation of years as God gave them to man. It was men who changed the “times and seasons” so the years of man do not coincide with the years of God. ( Men keep a Roman (Gregorian) Calendar and a Roman time system for keeping the time of day.) It took much trial and error for this to occur to me. Therefore this narrative is intended to accumulate the years according Gods measure of time as He gave it to us in the bible.

The chart gives a starting point, an ending point, the number of years from the first event to the second event, then lists the cumulative years attained by all the events to that point and then states the scriptures or evidence to confirm the years stated.
I found this to be a very inspiring project, as it brings into focus the reality that we are very close to the return of Christ. I hope it inspires you as well.

CHAPTER ONE

“LET THERE BE LIGHT!”

Radiant light blazed forth, bursting from God. His incandescence blasted into the abyss, exploding from His very Person. Breathless wonder seized Lucifer. Astonishing!

As God’s light shaft beamed forth, a solo gushed from Lucifer’s angelic throat, welling up, soaring higher and higher. His notes hovered pure and clear, his crescendo filling the vault of heaven. He was made to sing.

When Lucifer was created, his first act had been a song. It had seemed the only appropriate response. He had beheld Yahweh—God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit—the Three in One. At first sight of the One God, a song of adoration had welled up within him.

“Holy! Holy! Holy!” Lucifer had intoned, serenading each, emotions over owing.
Brilliant Creator! How Lucifer adored Him!

The Lord God had made them all—myriads of angelic beings, thousands upon thousands, each exquisitely unique. From his superior position above God’s throne, Lucifer led the rejoicing of all the angels in the heavenly abode. It was marvelous! Continuously, he sang to his God.

Lucifer was the best and the brightest, designed to praise Yahweh.

Looking down upon the Son, Lucifer floated above Him. As the Son spoke, His light transformed the chaos. Order began. Arms and wings unfurled as Lucifer spread himself wide, his soaring music accompanying the Son’s creative acts.

As energy emanated from the Son, music emanated from Lucifer.

Day One

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Imagine walking down a path at night, without light. Now imagine the lights turning on, how much safer you feel. You can now see ahead of you, and can remain hopeful. Without this light, you are scared, anxious, disillusioned and you move slower so that you won’t bump into anything. The majority of your focus is spent on taking each small step, just to get from point A to point B.

With the light on, you don’t need to focus on the hard things in life, you can just focus on Jesus. Focusing on Jesus makes your walk so much easier for He is where you come from, and He is where you are going.

And this isn’t just a dim light, it is the light of LIFE! Can you imagine how bright that is?

Prayer: Jesus, you are the true light that has come into the world. Help me to walk in Your light today. Thank you for being the Light of the world.

PROLOGUE

The car slowly navigated up the long, twisting, stone driveway. One had to be careful not to drive too fast because of the thick, tall trees that towered over this narrow passageway. A strong wind blew the giants from side to side, creating strange and ominous shadows on the ground. It was a clear night with the exception of an occasional harmless cloud dashing by a brilliant full moon. Finally, the car stopped a few hundred feet from an old, three-story, Victorian house. The two young people sat there at first, just staring. Then, looking at each other, they broke into sly, mischievous smiles. The moon washed over the old house, giving it an eerie presence that rivaled any Hollywood movie set, but that didn’t bother Tom or Louise. After all, that’s why they were there.

Tom stepped out of the car first. He was six-feet, three inches, two hundred and ten pounds, with jet-black hair. From what everyone said, especially the girls, he was drop dead gorgeous. The passenger-side car door opened and Louise got out holding a large blanket. Looking up into the wind, she brushed her long blonde hair out of her eyes. She was all that Tom was, but in a seventeen-year old girl kind of way. Beautiful of face and body, she had it all and had no trouble showing it off. Every boy in Blackstone High Virginia was after her and would gladly trade places with Tom any day, anytime.

Aside from their good looks, they had something else in common. They were totally and outrageously out of control. Tom and Louise did anything they wanted, whenever they wanted. They got caught having sex in one of the back stair hallways at school in their junior year, giving no excuse or apology for their actions, and even had the audacity to ask the principal what the big deal was. That was just the tip of the iceberg compared to some of their more famous exploits.

Now it was their senior year and they had every intention of making it memorable. The Oslow House was, by everybody’s account, absolutely, positively haunted. There was no doubt about it. Year after year, kids would pull up to the house and then drive away too scared to go in. Many said they did but no one ever had the guts to really do it. There was one case where a kid ran onto the porch, but then took off in a panic when he said he saw a tall, dark figure coming toward him.

THE ALL MANKIND BIBLE COMMENTARY

Ross S MArshall

ALL-MANKIND-BOOK-COVER-front-cover-21

“A truth's initial commotion is directly proportional to how deeply the lie was believed. When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker, a lunatic.” – Dresden James

The purpose of this book is to introduce the reader to what is believed to be the original atonement teaching of first century Christianity. It has a close relationship of the two traditional modern theological positions of today, but varies greatly in the “end result” or final destiny of humanity. In times past, in the early beginnings of Christianity an alien doctrine crept into the body of Christ displacing the true teaching of the ultimate destiny of man. ET.s infiltrated and began to teach Eternal Torment! No, not space Aliens. But people who knew not the true Greek Scriptures nor the pure “Well-Message,” but preferred heresy, the dividing and separating of God from man. It was another gospel requiring too many contingencies.

The consequence was not unity but an on-going fragmentation of the Body into denominations. The first to appear was Rome. Then later others followed such as the different factions within the Protestant Reformation. I intend to correct this grave mistake in this book. A thorough view of the subject of the true Gospel of Christ is presented with sufficient scriptural quotations and detailed commentaries. Emphasis is placed upon those concepts of immediate value to the student, pastors, theologians and other persons who are dissatisfied with contemporary doctrinal creeds and who are still seeking the truth. This book brings to light the positive “good news” of the message of Universal Salvation as trumpeted by the angel of the Lord and leaves the negative verses for another time in the unveiling of Christ.
